1966 Chrysler Imperial. This car is 100% original with nothing missing or broken. Loaded with power everything, I mean everything. Even the wing windows. All of the power items work as they should: Windows, seats, antenna, etc. All accessories work as they should: Radio, heat, air, gauges, dummy lights, clock, all lights and blinkers, map light, interior lights in the sail panels, blinker cancellers, etc. Everything has been serviced in some way the recent past to make sure that absolutely everything operates as it did when the car was new. There is a folder full of reciepts showing extensive maintainance records from the two previous owners (I am the third owner -of two years). Originally a Colorado car and then a California car, this beauty is 100% rust-free and always has been. I mean not even a speck of surface rust anywhere! The body is very straight with no signs of previous accidents. Not a single ding in the car anywhere. I have taken pictures with the car wet, to show how straight the body is, and I took some pictures of the car dry to show the current shine of the paint. Though shiny, the paint is not perfect. There are very minor imperfections in the form of minor chipping in a few areas, but the paint shows well. The car is currently wearing its first repaint in the original maroon color. All brightwork (body trim and chrome) on the car is in 100% perfect condition. Not a ding or scuff in any of it. The bumpers are 99% perfect with very shiny chrome. No peeling or fading of the chrome. All glass on the car is perfect with no cracks, scuffs or hazing at all. The hubcaps are perfect without a single ding anywhere. The grille chrome is perfect. The glass headlight lenses, as well as the taillight lenses, are perfect. Mechanically, the car is perfect in every way. The engine runs very very stong with a fresh tune up. No leaks, no noises. The trans shifts perfectly. Exhaust is perfect. The brakes operate amazingly well with the shoes having 90% left on them. The car drives 100% flawlessly. It never pulls, shimmy's, squeaks, rattles or anything. It floats along silently, as though you are on a cloud. I have owned dozens of classic cars, including a load of land yachts, but this is the best driving car I have ever driven. 2 of my friends drove it in the last week and they said the same thing. If you've never owned a 60's Imperial before, you don't know what you're missing. If you have owned them, you know what I'm talking about. The interior is in excellent condition. The only flaw in the upholstery is on the top left corner of the driver's seat, where there is a 3" separation at the seam. Otherwise, no tears, cracks or other separations in the leather anywhere. All of the chrome in the interior is 100% perfect, and there is a lot of it. No scuffs or scratches anywhere. All of the faux wood is perfect with great color and luster. The dash upholstery is perfect. So is everything else about the dash and instrument panel. The rear seats, even at the back side top, as well as the package tray, are all perfect. The headliner and sunvisors are flawless. The carpet is excellent with only very minor wear showing. No rips or holes. The trunk separators are mint, as is the trunk carpet. The original jack and spare are in place and in great condition as well. Original jack instructions are in place and in great shape. The car has 80K+ original miles. The odometer works and has never turned over. Mileage is actual! Clean, clear title, in hand! I will accept cash in person or a bank to bank wire transfer only. No exceptions.
