1962 Jaguar MK2 3.8L Saloon. A very original and solid California car with "Black and Yellow" plates. This car is matching numbers car with the exception of a 5 speed upgrade. Originally an automatic however a more desirable 5 speed was installed by an XK specialist for a more Sports Saloon driving experience. CLEAN title in hand. This car is a great driver. Has ALUMINUM radiator, SS exhaust system, new tires including spare. Original wire wheels, spokes have been trued (X5), full tune up with rebuilt carbs and Pertronix distributer , rebuilt brake servo. All Chrome and trim is original and complete with nice patina that looks great, interior wood finish is in AMAZING condition. all electricals work, gauges and switches are PERFECT. Interior is cloth but very easy to upgrade to leather if desired. body is straight with good fit all around. very solid floors all around. paint is fair for age as well. The car has a very good and even stance as can be seen in the pictures. This vehicle was originally a gray exterior with red interior and was changed to a red exterior with gray interior. This is NOT a concours show car but is a wonderful driver you can drive and enjoy with the family that is affordable and very REASONABLY priced. Underneath is very dry and solid as the car originated and spent its life in California. Jaguar Heritage Certificate available to confirm origination of car. The car starts from the first "PUSH" start without hesitation. Engine has excellent oil pressure and very smooth with good acceleration...(LOTS OF FUN TO DRIVE especially going through the gears...)
