1954 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible, let me start out by saying that this is a project car that will need to be built. I will say that this car does have some rust, Their are a couple small holes in the rear corners of the floor pans, none in the trunk that i have found, and the frame is covered in light surface rust, but zero holes in it, nor any heavy rust that means the frame will need any repair at all, very solid foundation. Someone at some time replaced the front driver floor pan, but that has been the only patch that i know of put into the car. Unlike most that tell you that their car is all their until you get it home and find out other wise, i will say that this car is missing a couple pieces. Right off hand i do know that the front seat is missing as well as the; fenders skirts, couple pieces of the convertible top frame, 1 factory exhaust manifold, breather assembly, the big trim pieces on the quarter panels that are specific to Eldorado, and most likely a couple smaller parts as well. But as you can see the car is just slap full of parts that go with the car, including the original motor and automatic transmission that will need to be rebuilt. This car came from the factory a Real Eldorado convertible, the car was Apollo Gold (which is a Eldorado color only), with Red and white Leather interior and Red leather side walls. The car had a White Orlon Convertible Top. The option list on the trim tag, reads as a E-H-R, e is for the E-Z eye Glass,(which is still attached to the factory padded dash), H for the heater, and R for the signal seeking radio. The car also came with the power windows. From what I've read online with the car being a Eldorado it would have come from the factory with chrome wire wheels, but i do not have them. The car is just like you see it in the pictures, all of the body pieces are in primer and ready for work, and the car is just about pulled all apart with the body about ready to come off the frame. I had the idea of building a pro touring car out of it, with a LS1 and custom built chassis, but i have way to many projects right now going, and would hate for the car to sit and go down hill in the next 3 to 4 years or so before i could get to it. This car is an amazing car start for a project, that you could either take back to original or build a pro touring car out of, either way the car would be worth six figures either way. Very Rare and desirable car for what it is. Certainly don't see these coming up ever day like this, and certainly not in this shape when they do come up. The car is for sale locally and is subject to be taken off eBay. The car is also sold as is with no warranty. A 25% deposit is due within 3 days of the auctions end and the balance within 7 more when the car is to be picked up or arrangements are made for the car to be shipped.
