I have too many bikes and not enough time. It's time to let a few go to new homes where they can be enjoyed and ridden. This RC51 was purchased new by me in 2001. I have thought about selling it several times in the past, but when I take it for 1 last ride, I fall in love with the torque and stability. It's a heavy bike, but it is so stable in a turn when you hit a bump that would bounce my CBR600 all over. The small chip on the tank happed within the first week I owned it in 2001 (rock hit my helmet and bounced down on tank...I was crushed!) It was dropped on it's right side while on my trailer, so you'll see some small scratches on the right fairing and engine cover. It also fell over in hot blacktop years ago on the left side. There is some road rash on the upper from the blacktop, the left mirror has some scratches but they don't show up to well and there is some blacktop scratches on the left muffler. I'm 99% sure I have a perfect used left muffler that I will through in to anyone picking up the bike or willing to pay for shipping...but don't bid expecting a perfect muffler until I report back here that I found it on my garage shelves! It also comes with an Ohlins steering damper. If you're a local buyer, I'll throw in a bike cover and Harbor Freight motorcycle stand (see http://www.harborfreight.com/interests/motorcycle/motorcycle-stand-wheel-chock-97843.html). The stand is too heavy to ship, sorry. And if you buy 3 or more of my bikes, I'll throw in a 4 bank battery tender. Reserve is $3000.
