[ RE-LISTED DUE TO NON-PAYING BIDDER. I THOUGHT IT WAS COMMON SENSE, BUT DO NOT BID IF YOU HAVE NO INTENTION OF PURCHASING. DO NOT WASTE MY TIME AND THOSE OF GENUINE BIDDERS! ] This vehicle was running before it was garaged for several years. The cable that connects the shift lever to the transmission to switch between PRND etc, broke. I purchased a new one but never got around to installing it. Buyer will receive the new uninstalled cable. Before that, the engine ran fine and the transmission shifted normally. Other known Issues:Needs a battery! - old one went dead and was recycled,Interior dash-light bulbs need replacing here and there,Rear window has a slight rattle and may need some window adhesive,Water ingress into trunk during heavy rains - MAY be related to rear window issue - assume rusted spare and tire changing tools,Exhaust had a leak, probably needs new muffler/piping replacement by now due to rusting,Some Body rust, as seen in photos,Brakes will no doubt need attention/servicing - been sitting for a while,Missing a hub cap,Needs new tires. Vehicle ran fine otherwise. Easy fix for someone looking for a dependable commuter car. High miles, but good, strong motor/transmission. That said, the vehicle is being sold as is, where is, as a repair vehicle. I believe I have listed all the maladies it contained/contains, but it has been sitting for a few years in the garage and there may be other issues that may have developed in that time or been overlooked. Please ask any and all questions before bidding. As I said it was driven daily before the shift lever cable broke at the transmission housing. A brand new cable is provided, but not installed. Vehicle can manually be shifted from Park for towing purposes by rotating the lever on the transmission housing. Will need to be towed from Dover Plains, NY 12522.
