Vehicle Detail
1970 Honda CT70 "Trail 70" Mini Bike/Motorcycle. Candy Ruby Red with 667 Original Miles. This bike is in very good condition, not perfect, but I would give it a strong 8. All original as best as I can tell. Paint has excellent shine with only a few pock marks, the most noticeable by the headlight. Could easily touched up but I'll leave this up to the winning bidder. Chrome looks excellent with minimal wear. Speedometer face looks great, they are usually faded. Tires have plenty of tread, but because of age would probably want to replace. Decals look nice. Front and Rear Brakes work good. Headlight works, but not on Low Beam. Tail and Brake Light works, but backwards... Light dims when brake is applied. Seat is in Nice condition, but does show some wear. Fenders are in very good condition. Carb. was removed and cleaned. Engine is clean, side covers could stand to be repainted. Exhaust and shield is in nice condition. Engine runs good and shifts good. Bike Runs and Rides nicely. This is a nice Survivor. With that said it is not perfect. It does have a few chips and light rust, i.e. in the corners of the chrome in junctions, the paint is rubbed off of the foot pegs, etc... But, you would be hard pressed to find a nicer example of an original bike. Any issues can be easily resolved, but I know that some purist may prefer it left alone, or do it a certain way. It is joy to look at and to ride. I'm 6ft and 195 lbs. and it pulls me around effortlessly. E-mail me with any questions. Any potential bidders are welcome to come and take a look at the bike. There is no Title for this bike, but I can provide a Bill of Sale" $500.00 due at auction close and remainder due in Money Order, Good Check or cash upon Pick-up. Would probably be easier for Winning Bidder to pick this up, but shipping arrangements can be made, but please contact well before auction end so we can make sure that it can be worked out.
