Here is a restoration that was completed over 5 years, although it was sold to us as ("Exempt", odometer was replaced, and zerod out, and now has 2,600 miles since the restoration), restoration included both interior and exterior refinements, as well as a complete engine/transmission-out service. Restored and Improved Interior Includes: Newly rebuilt zeroed gauges Glass/Chrome trim replaced Speedo canted for easier read (can be moved to original position) Dash recovered in leather Red/Black tu-tone treatment 930 steering wheel added Clarion receiver with USB/MP3/Bluetooth compatible Renn-Line aluminum sills and shift knob Exterior Improvements Include: Professional glass-out re-spray Steel wide-body rear quarters Porsche body coating on inner panels, engine bay, and cargo area Whale tail spoiler New weather stripping Engine has also been refined with a complete engine/transmission-out service - Rebuilt 1978 3.0 liter motor from the crankshaft up. Replacement of intermediate shaft, idler, and thrust bearings Replacement of gaskets, washers, heads (redone) New valve guides, springs, etc. New shifter coupler bushings, short throw(Seine Systems),shift kit, and clutch pressure plate New gas tank Heat risers removed (can be put back to stock if desired) Rebuilds: Factory fuel injection system, Brake/Pedal cluster, Calipers, Pads, E-brake rebuilt/replaced Shift kit The luminous Silver over Red Leatherette is a rockin color combination, and will no doubt inspire you to throw off that Targa top first chance you get.
