Vehicle Detail
1991 Jeep Grand Wagoneer 5.9L Green / Tan - Clean Final Edition - 162,000 Miles - Original Owner I bought this great car new in 1991, did not drive it for the first 7 years, and then started using it for around town and family vacation trips. Picture of actual car. The Jeep has been garaged all it's life, having lived in Nevada, California, and Utah, all dry weather states. It is original, except for normal maintenance items, such as replacing water pumps, gas pumps, battery, muffler, etc. The interior is amazing, floor mats original, and I kept the seats covered so I did not have to worry about spilling ice-cream on them. The floor coverings and mats have never been shampooed. What touches you is leather or cloth, the rest is matching vinyl. The outside color is Hunter Green Metallic, inside is tan. A total of 1,560 Jeep Grand Wagoneers were produced in the 1991 model year. Approximately 150 of these were Hunter Green. The last Jeep Grand Wagoneer produced rolled out of Chrysler's Toledo Assembly Plant on June 21, 1991. This Final Edition does not have the dash board plaque. The tires were bought last year, to match the original tire look (hard to find), and have under 3000 miles on them. This car is accident free and has not been restored or repainted. I have all papers, most maintenance records, and original purchase agreement. These cars are easy to work on, and have a simple carbureted engine. Title is clear, no liens. A non-smoker car. Of all the cars I have owned (Jaguars, Cadillac's, Mercedes), this one has the most appeal. People constantly stop to talk about it, when I take it out on a drive. This is a classic, a nice car, with tons of character, and it has been fun to own and drive. Most of these jeeps are missing the fog lamp covers. This car has the original covers! From the factory, the fog lamps are installed just above the front bumper guards. I moved them to the right and left of the bumper guards, so they would not jut out so glaringly. Buy and drive it immediately, or use it as the base for the ultimate restoration. Enjoy driving it today, then have it totally restored 10 years down the road for another 10 fun years. All pictures for this listing were taken 12-July-2015. For international buyers, I will store car until 2016 (as car will be 25 years old then) so import taxes can be reduced (will require 1/2 of the sale price as a deposit for me to hold car). Also, a $2000 deposit is required within 48 hours after close of auction, to secure car. No hidden reserve price. Car was undercoated before we started driving it. Very little rust. Back seating area is super clean. Above is the top part of the original window sticker. Will include original window sticker with car. Some of the paperwork that will be included with car, in addition to original window sticker, clear title, owners manual. Cosmetic issues This cherry vehicle has 162,000 miles on it, so it will have a nick, a scratch, a scuff and a chip mark, here and there. But with that said, I have been fastidious with this car, washing the undercarriage, on the rare occasion when I had to drive on salted roads or in inclement weather, etc. These are known issues - Driver door arm rest has a 2-inch vinyl cut - Windshield has 6-inch rock crack and a dime size stone crack - Driver seat belt latch spring broken - Rear window key hole covering has spring broken - Couple of cracks in upholstery piping - Remote entry key fob case cracked - AM radio works, but FM and cassettes do not play Engine and Operating Car engine runs smoothly. It has passed the last 4 years of smog emissions tests in Utah, without requiring any engine repairs or adjustments. Engine runs hot on mountain roads, but is fine around town. Engine leaks oil, about 2-3 drops per day. Needs a quart of oil about every 5,000 miles. The rear axel gear box probably needs the oil changed, and possibly the rear axel gears replaced. Air conditioning is not cool, needs re-charging Large Size Unglamorous Photos P1000479.JPG P1000480.JPG P1000481.JPG P1000483.JPG P1000484.JPG P1000486.JPG P1000487.JPG P1000488.JPG P1000489.JPG P1000490.JPG P1000491.JPG P1000492.JPG P1000493.JPG P1000494.JPG P1000495.JPG P1000496.JPG P1000497.JPG P1000498.JPG P1000499.JPG P1000500.JPG P1000501.JPG P1000502.JPG P1000503.JPG P1000504.JPG P1000505.JPG P1000506.JPG P1000507.JPG P1000508.JPG P1000509.JPG P1000510.JPG P1000511.JPG P1000512.JPG P1000513.JPG P1000514.JPG P1000515.JPG P1000516.JPG P1000517.JPG P1000518.JPG P1000519.JPG P1000520.JPG P1000521.JPG P1000522.JPG P1000524.JPG P1000527.JPG Payment, Shipping, Taxes and Fees Buyer is responsible for all shipping, taxes, title transfer fees, duties, etc. of the sale.
