This Auction is for a 1962 Mercury Comet 2 Dr Custom S-22 ? and a 1963 Mercury Comet 2Dr parts car. I was going to make 1 out of 2 but both are worth saving. Both start, run, drive, stop. The 1962 is a Custom S 22 2 Door Coupe or sedan code 62c. Date 10G. Trim / emblem holes filled and weren't with the car. Looks to be a Mustang 1968 or 69 302 8 Cyl, 4 Speed Ford top loader tag | RUG - E . No smoke runs smooth shifts thru all gears bellhousing has a C7 part number. The suspension axle brakes etc. look to be from a Mustang also Sits level and does NOT have shackle lift or air shosks . There is rot next to shackle and around tank. Black with red vinyl interior. Bucket seats. Console [ loose in trunk complete with floor brackets] . 42,996 miles. Has only been driven 27 miles since 1999. Has a new fiberglass teardrop hood scoop, edelbrok alum intake - Holley 600 4 BBL - Accell dist. Hurst shifter, very rare set of 14" Spyder Motor Wheels - Magnesium if I remember correctly - Nice condition. Peep mirrors, and 25th XXV Anniversary Mercury Steering Wheel. New gas tank. Alternator system from mustang with wiring . Newer headliner. New seat covers on rear seats front bucket seat covers new in box included. Electric cooling fan. painted steel bumpers are straight. Lh door glass and vent need replaced - spare vent included - Needs floor pans and carpet. Pans in he car are the ''drip trays" from my lift and will not be included. Title clear. Yard drives. could go on and on------ The1963 is a 62B Custom 2 Door Coupe. Date 09E. Could be used as a parts car or restored. 170 6 Cyl, 2 Spd automatic. Primer Black was code E blue with blue cloth interior. Bench seat. 77,645 miles. Has a new windshield and gasket, New brake lines. Floor pans are "tacked" in but not finished. No carpet, no headliner. Engine looks to be rebuilt. Trans shifts properly. Red S-22 upper seat cushion there from other car [ see pics] Chrome and trim are in the trunk. 4 13" 4 lug wheels . generator works as do most lights etc. rear wheels 14's off a 68 mustang Looks to be about 90% complete.
