About the car:I bought this Toyota Camry in October 2013 through a dealer auction via a family friend who ran a smaller dealer. I had good luck with purchasing a couple BMW project cars this way. Unfortunately, I or my family friend were unfamiliar with Toyotas. Shortly after getting it home, I realized it needed a head gasket, common to Toyota 4-cylinders of this variety. I parked the car, eventually having a mechanic look at it and tell me the block was cracked as well. I sought out a low mileage engine and had it installed in Feb 2014. The replacement engine was a high quality used one, with only 52000 miles. I drove the car for 6 months. At state inspection time, I found out that it needed new tires to pass inspection but that everything else was ok, which were replaced with new Yokohama tires in August 2014. In September 2014, a family member sold me a used Accord at a fair price. I have been trying to sell the Camry on and off since then. I'm quite busy with work during the day and have very little free time on the weeks to promote the car locally. Plus, it's a good third car and has been nice to have around. However, it's time that it move on to a better home! It's a great commuter, as I used it for a 40 mile round trip drive for 6 months without issue. The AC has been recently recharged, the battery is less than two years old, and it has two new front tires. I've listed out the condition and issues in the condition section.
