moefoe Store Description1964 "California black plate" Mercedes 190C, great running 4 cylinder, fresh oil change and distributor cap, gasoline, odometer shows 33K not sure of actual miles, 4 speed manual column shift, front disc brakes, runs and drives but needs TLC, lights, heater fan, gauges work, even electric clock, Blaupunkt radio works, needs fuel sending unit, tie rods (new pair included - need to be installed). Glass good and windows work well (manual). No AC. Good tires, seats,headliner needs repair (sagging at rear), worn paint , etc. for restoration or drive as is. Body in good shape but one rust hole the size of silver dollar under left rear truck area and a couple of small dings. On non-op. Not many of these around in. Positives; strong running engine ( no puddles!), transmission works in all gears, decent seats and dash (no cracks), working Blaupunkt radio, Hella driving lights, headlights, taillights, turn signals, interior dome light all work, cool vertical speedo works, oil & temp gauges work, all (roll up and fly) windows work good, brakes work OK (pull to one side if braking hard). Negatives; poor paint, a few dings and a "quarter size" rust hole at rear fender well area (see pic), headliner sagging in the rear, missing interior dome light cover, no cigar lighter - note; there are no doubt other things I may have overlooked that will need attention. Sold as-is, where-is - buyer must make all arrangements for pickup/delivery (note; I can store car for up to 2 months but full payment must be made within 2 weeks. The perfect classic Mer; fuel efficient (for it's time) dependable 4 cylinder engine, no smog, no computers, easy to work on - not many around!
