Vehicle Detail
1936 Chevrolet Master Tudor Sedan. Perfect for either an easy recommissioning as a mechanically original vintage car, or for conversion into a resto-mod with modern running gear. Straight body professionally painted with no bondo. About $4,000 was spent on fender bodywork and paint. Body is metallic silver and the fenders are metallic blue. There are a few paint nicks from road use and a few fatigue spots on rear fenders where fender brackets are attached. Chrome hood ornament is in nice shape. Chrome elsewhere is not perfect. Blue upholstery nicely done. Some staining on headliner around rear window. Working original Town and Country horn. Engine has custom machined, steel, camshaft timing gear (replacing fiber gear) for super reliability. Cost was about $500 to have the steel gear made. Brakes, clutch, transmission and differential are all in working order. Car was licensed and on road until recently. Converted to 12-volts with 12-volt generator. Has a fuse block on engine compartment firewall for wiring safety. Good wiring.Halogen headlights in original headlight shells and using original lenses. Working turn signals. All gauges (speedometer, oil pressure, gas, and ammeter) work correctly. Push-pull (off-on) ignition switch with original key switch left in place for vintage appearance. Original working interior heater with electric blower motor. Works great and blows hot air. Combination on-off switch and rheostat. Custom made heavy duty aluminum radiator and recent NOS replacement water pump. New king pins and completely remanufactured, fully-functioning, knee-action shock absorbers on front end. Work was done by Apple Hydraulics at a cost of about $950. Have receipt. The car is for sale locally, and I reserve the right to cancel the auction if it is sold before this auction is over.
