Up for auction is a 1965 Mustang GT 350 Recreation. I am sell this from my private collection due to the need to downsize. I have six Fastbacks from each of the early years and unfortunately I no longer have the time to enjoy my hobby like I want to. So instead of letting them just sit, I've finally decided to let them go and let someone else enjoy them. Practically everything on the car inside and out is relatively new including the Magnum 500 rims and Cooper tires. The car has some very nice custom options including a Rally Pac, Dash Pod, overhead and center consoles, 8 Track Player, seat belt warning lights, electric trunk release with air shock hinges, etc. The buyer will be very pleased with the interior. As you can see in the pictures, it has a custom trap door panel, but I will include the original with the sale of the car. This car has not been driven much over the past 5 years, maybe 50 miles if that. (I have 6 of them so I have to take turns with them during the little time that I do have). The paint looks ok but could use some touch-up in a few areas. The Doors/fenders could also use some minor alignment to make them perfect...however its looks good as is. It has a newly rebuilt 302 with a mild cam and a semi-automatic (race) transmission. The dash shows approximately 12 miles on the new Classic Mustang Gauges. The car runs good but it does have a high compression ratio and needs 91 Octane gas. It has a brand new Edelbrock 600 Carb. The things needed to make this car perfect are extremely small... however I am sure that whomever purchases the car will be happy with it as is but I definitely want to mention anything that may be of interest.
