Vehicle Detail
Due to the car's title transfer from Quebec, Canada to Florida, USA Autocheck erroneously lists this car as being salvaged. This car was never salvaged as the French language government mistakenly misreported the car's disposition. The Florida title was issued 1 day before the Canadian authorities reports the error. I originally listed this car a couple of weeks ago and eBay removed the listing because of the title discrepancy. So after pleading with the bureaucratic and careless authorities and waiting patiently as many emails sit in cyberspace unanswered I'm relisting this car because we have sold our home and do not want to move three cars to the new hose. No reserve. Please read the description, condition report and view the photos carefully before bidding. So for sale we have my wife's late uncle's Genuine 2002 PT Dream Cruiser. Comes with a gold cloth cover in a drawstring bag. This car was originally purchased in Canada by my wife's uncle so the odometer reflects kilometers instead of miles. Mileage listed is an estimate. Please see photos and condition report above for details. Production Serial number affixed to the dashboard is 4782. $300 DEPOSIT expected with 24 hours of auction's close, balance via cashier's check or cash at or before pickup. In answer to questions I recently received and in fairness to all who may bid, I'm posting this additional condition report: " I see no leaks as the driveway under the car is clean. This car has been in the same family all it's life. my wife inherited it after her uncle's passing. The alternator seems fine, I believe the electrical problem comes from the blinker/light switch lever in the steering column. The lights come on intermittently when the car is parked unless the left blinker is on. My opinion of struts, transmission, and motor under hood is I'm no expert but they all seem to work fine. Pretty much all the rust is in the under carriage and exposed metal parts and the seams inside the driver's door bottom are beginning to show signs of corrosion but none shows through on the outside of the car. The paint look good pretty much all around other than a bump or mar here or there except the rear bumper had cracking/flaking because it was bumped from behind. I'll try to get more photos online soon, but if you are looking for a perfect car ready to take on a long trip you should not bid on this one. I'm not a mechanic or have experiencing buying/selling cars. It has been a good car, but needs some TLC."On Jul-07-15 at 09:59:29 PDT, seller added the following information: The cars had been sitting awhile, so I charged the battery and checked the fluids. I just took it for a test ride, it started right up and runs well. All gauges nominal. There seems to be a bit or a vibration from a front wheel, the tire/wheel may be going bad. Also after driving for 12 miles the check engine light came on. I suppose because the gas is a bit old Just posting this in the interest of everyone knowing everything I can tell you about the car.
