Here we have an awesome real deal old school Econoline. The paint was done by Harold Harnish in 1976! The roof was repainted 2 years ago.This van has been kept inside most of it's life, which has preserved the artwork very well. There are a few spots that are chipped at the edges, but overall it is very nice. The original 302 engine and C4 transmission has been replaced with a 1990 5.0 H.O. roller engine and AOD transmission from a 1990 Thunderbird.The engine has 75,000 miles on it now and the transmission has 10,000 miles on it.The engine has a Holley 600 vacuum secondary on it and a Ford Racing"E" series camshaft. The engine runs great and the trans. shifts perfectly. the exhaust is true duals with headers, H-pipe and flowmaster mufflers. Sounds great.The power drum brakes are fairly new and work great. The interior has been redone and has captains chairs up front, removable center captains chairs and power sofa bed in back. There is dealer-installed air conditioning in the dash that I had recharged, but it only blew cold for a few weeks. The tires are BF Goodrich radial T/A's front and rear and they have about 2000 miles on them.There is a little rust bubbling on the driver lower door, not in the artwork. This van is ready to cruise anywhere and is very comfortable. we have had it on quite a few road trips and car shows and it attracts attention like crazy! I would just like to remind everyone that this vehicle is 41 years old and the paint is 39 years old, so it IS NOT perfect. there are some blemishes in the paint and it doesn't drive like a new car, but it is comfortable and fun to drive. The one thing I forgot to mention is the fuel guage doesn't work. These pictures don't do it justice. There are many small details that can only be appreciated when seen in person.
