Please read all of this… The Body – -The body is a driver’s quality paint job rated as a 7.5 out of a 10. It has had rear lower quarters put on. The paint is shiny but expect some chips, scratches and maybe a bubble here and there. The chrome is all in good driver quality condition. The windshield has a sander mark. All of the other glass is nice. The wheel wells do not have any holes. The floors and frame work are all solid. All of the chrome is in decent driver quality condition. I would not hesitate to take it to the local cruise in or show, not expecting to win anything but being proud of this old Pony. She could use a good coat of wax. I would also consider replacing the weather strips on the doors at the window. They are old. The Suspension – The front suspension has been complete rebuilt with new control arms, sway bar, tie rods etc. The rear leaf springs and shocks all the way around are new. The front ties have plenty of tread but have some minor checking. The rear tires are great. The rims are driver quality and would probably shine up with some elbow grease. The car drives straight and no pull when braking. I can tell there is a flat spot on the rear ties from sitting in the same spot. They should be fine once driven on regularly. The drive train – The straight 6 starts up the first time every time. She has plenty of power and is nice and quiet. The transmission shifts fine. There will be some drops of transmission fluid beneath the Mustang when it sits for extended periods of time. There are no weird noises or overheating. It runs real nice. The exhaust is older but doesn’t have any leaks. All of the lights work, as does the horn. It might need a battery. Putting a charge on it since it’s been sitting. The interior – The interior is what I would call an 8 out of 10. The dash is great as is all of the functional gauges. The seats, carpet and headliner are in real good shape. No rips and only minor discoloration of the carpet. The door panels are like new, however were you rest your arm with the window down could use a new coat of crinkle paint. All of the windows go up and down very easy. It has a nice CD player and speakers. Overall – this is a nice solid rust free Mustang for the classic car entry level hobbyist or for the experienced classic car guy, who would like to take it to the next level.
