The Good This is a good bike. Starts easily. Runs and rides nice. The XR650L is a great dual sport bike. I bought this bike on Ebay in late 2013, rebuilt the top end and I was going to build a street tracker....... and then bought a 1984 XR Race bike to restore instead. What can i say, at my age they are as much fun to fix than ride. This bike has new valves, cam and piston. JE Piston Kit 657cc 10.5:1 and a HotCams WWJK25 No: 4. There are ess than 200 miles on rebuild. Basically I've ridden it around enough to know it works. Clarke Tank 5.0 gallon tank. Super Trapp Muffler. New Seat Cover. LED Tail Light. Brand New Lithium battery. Pannier racks. Hand gaurds. The Bad Odometer says 13,823 miles but it is broken. I haven't put more than 300 miles on the bike. Carburetor needs top end adjustment. Sputters at full throttle. I suspect with the larger piston and new cam it needs to be jetted but I don't have time to mess with it. It runs and is ride able as is. Turn signals, hand guards, and pannier racks are removed. I have them just need to be reinstalled. This is a good bike that you will be happy with.
