2006 DRZ400sm in very good condition. Oil changed every 1500 miles with Amsoil. I am the second owner and have owned it for over 4 years. I'm a 47 year old engineer and took great care of this bike. This bike has been my daily driver. I drive it 60 miles a day to work. It's a great commuter bike and lots of fun. Just recently I did an 800 mile weekend trip with it. Speedometer shows 16,700, but actual miles are 26,200. I had to replace the instrument cluster at one point because it stopped working. The bike has the tail light eliminator kit. I installed led turn signals front and back. I also wired the front turn signals to stay on all the time at half power, like some bikes and all cars have. I have a new Michelin Pilot Power 3 tire on the back, about 1000 miles ago. The chain and sprockets were also replaced 1000 miles ago. It has the DID X-Ring chain and Sunstar sprockets. I installed a water proof power outlet on the handle bar for my GPS. There are a few scratches on the right side radiator cover. No oil leaks. These DRZ motors are somewhat noisy motors even when new. I can tell over the last 2 years it seems to getting a little more "noisy" each year. I don't know how long they last but assume it will need a rebuild or new piston at some point. I still drive it daily. It runs great, has full power, and doesn't burn any oil. I'm only selling because I plan to buy a new sport touring bike for some long highway trips. Please no messages to end auction early.
