1994 Mercedes Benz S350D One of the rarest diesel Mercedes imported into the American market. Thought to be only 2500 brought into the US. This is a true low milage engine. I had brought this car into a mechanic to have the wiring harness replaced and someone backed into it in their parking lot. When I found out we had it towed back to us and my wife decided she wanted a new car, so we are selling this as is. It has new tires and battery installed a year ago. The radio was updated to be able to plug in a phone or IPad. The car regularly got over 20 miles per gallon and we only used it 24 miles per day to go back and forth to work. The interior is clean with no damage to the original leather seats. We live in the country and there are no great repair shops in the area so we would like to find a new home for it. This would be great to use as a restoration project and I was told that it would be less than $4000 to fix the body if done by a body shop. The engine with its low mileage is too good to junk and the car other than mentioned is totally sound. We lived in Florida and this car had been down there until 1 year ago. It actually was never driven in snow as it sat at the repair shop thru the winter. THE CAR FEATURES: Double-paned soundproofed glass was a new S-Class innovation first fitted on the W140. This form of window glazing allowed for improved soundproofing, reduced condensation, and other insulation benefits.Electrically-operated exterior mirrors could be folded at the flick of a switch to ease driving in narrow spaces.'Parameter steering' was a system which made low-speed driving easier by reducing the effort required to maneuver in speed-sensitive situations such as parking.Rear-parking markers, or guide rods.
