Please don't buy this Dune Buggy unless you want to drive around with a permanent smile on your face! Kids go crazy over it too! This Buggy is based on a 1967 full length chassis. Front axel is very nice. Pans are very good with only a small patch under the battery area, see picture. A lot of work has been done within the last year including new base coat/ clear coat paint. new button tufted front seats on 65 Mustang frames. Mirrors, front and rear lights. Rebuilt 1600 Dual Port motor runs and sounds great plus has NO leaks, new wheels, battery, brakes, transaxle bushings. Trans shifts excellent with no jumping out of gear. Has Hurst shifter and small console, stops straight with no shimmy. Headlights, tail lights, brake lights, reverse lights, console lights, horn all work. Gas gauge works, wiper assembly intact but not working. There is no top assembly. Seat belts in front only. Roll bar is welded to the chassis. Front grille can be removed easily to install front plate if needed. Have been told it is a tough tub body but I'm not sure as there are no markings. There were no fiberglass breaks, holes or cracks prior to paint. Clear WV title in my name, has PA reconstructed VIN due to the fact it was built and titled in PA in 1975. If you're looking for a fun vehicle that's a little different this may be for you. This Buggy looks great, check out the surf board mirror and old Mopar gas cap. Too cool!
