This is an Olds 98 convertible I am listing for a friend., sat in a dry storage for many years until Jan. 2015 and the top leaks so the interior filled up with water. The car needs new carpet because it smells like mildew, and some of the switches don't work but it has power to all of the fuses, the top frame is good and not rusted out, the undercarriage of the car is also good but we don't have a lift so can't get good pics. the engine sounds like it has a lifter tick or an exhaust manifold leak but does not smoke, it may need an accelerator pump in the carb. The starter sticks on. The body is pretty solid but has some dings and dents, it is missing one hubcap and the fender skirts are there but need to be restored. Car would make an easy restoration because everything is there and not rusted out. Owner has no storage for it so he needs to sell before it gets ruined outside. 425 super Rocket engine! Car just made a 25 mile trip last Fri. but bring trailer because the brakes are weak and it has wiring issues. I was told the mileage is original. I have tried my best to list all of the bad because my feedback is important so please ask before bidding. This is a lot of car for the money so I reserve the right to end auction early if a decent offer is made. Thanks!
