A reliable air-cooled van, I drove this thing across the country and had little trouble. Incredible vehicles to drive, especially on the highway. It's sort of the new American dream, isn't it? I had multiple repairs done to her in the past year, and being a college student I need the money more critically than the van at the moment. Here's a rundown of repairs:~Replacement of clutch and rear main seal~CVS Boot service~Repack front wheel bearings~Replace steering rack boot~Replace Speedo cable~Replace gas tank hoses and grommets ~Replace spark plugs So the engine and mechanical components are in good shape and the thing will run without any problem. Internally, it could use some repairs. I began to replace the wallpaper but ended up leaving it as-is. The sink faucet needs to be fixed but as far as I know the refrigerator and stove work. The driver's side seat is in need of a replacement, as it's pretty worn. The original dipstick I was given was broken, so I bought a different kind to suffice as a dipstick. I live in the NW, and humidity has been a problem for the ceiling, so I'd suggest replacing the spray-on fabric with something durable. The passenger side door lock is broken and I don't have a lock key, so I'd suggest replacing those. The A/C unit is detached from the vehicle, and the interior fan isn't working. Picking it up by the end of June would be necessary, unless you'd rather have it shipped to you.
