This MGB is a great little car with a couple of potential drawbacks. First, rather than buy new electrical harnesses to replace hacked harnesses by previous owner, I installed toggle switches and ran new wiring of my own. All switches work and I documented what I did quite well, but I realize some may find that troublesome. More new parts than I can list including clutch, clutch hydraulics, carburetor, brake hoses, distributor, etc., etc,, etc.. Car has brand new gauges (about $400), some need tweaking, but I don't think it's a big deal. A new adapter for the speedometer cable connecting to the transmission is needed. Little, if any, rust to deal with. Top is fair and does not leak. The car starts, runs, and drives, but starts missing and coughing as it warms up and the automatic choke opens all the way. I think it's an easy fix if you can pinpoint it, which I have yet to do. Finish the project and you'll have a car easily worth at least four times my buy it now price. Also, passenger door opens only from the inside. It has a great set of mag wheels and all the sheet metal is very good. Could be used for parts, or could be a project, probably pretty easily completed and made into a great Sunday cruiser. Available for inspection if desired in Augusta, GA.
