1979 GMC Jimmy 4x4.RUST FREE Arizona Rig. 5.7 350 engine, 3 speed automatic, 4x4, AC, Power rear window, PB, PS. 107k miles. Factory paint ( Green), clean interior ( Brown). 4x4 works as it should. All glass is good and still has factory windshield. All lights & gauges work as they should. 33 inch tires with a 4 inch lift. I had serious plans for this truck, it took me forever to find a straight RUST FREE vehicle like this. It has its scars like dents, scuffs, patina, fading.... I never planned to repaint it since it canopy be original once. I just got it back from my mechanic, the following was performed. Water pump, plugs, wires, cap rotor, complete distributor, radiator, belts, hoses, battery, fuel filter, vacuum lines, intake & carb. 4 bbl Edelbrock carb with intake. Mild RV cam, headers. Last week my wife and I popped the top off for the first time. We had a blast with the kids... This truck was not built to be fast, It is a torque monster. It will pull anything you throw at her. I have somewhat of a mudder on the rear, and steering tires for the front. I have used this truck to get me into places others cannot travel. She has never let me down. It does have AC but the clutch is frozen. In AZ we pop tops on rigs like this so AC was nor is a big issue .Heater blows heat from the depths of hell. I will answer a few questions up front. NO RUST" PERIODLeak" Yes it does, but not enough to ruin my month. Don't know of any that don't. Quarter sized drop every 2-3 weeks.How does it run. 3 pumps of the peddle and it fires right up. Handling. It tracks down the road good, but anyone who has had 33 inch tires knows they follow the divits in the road. Off road she is a beast".NO Radio' Speakers in doors and dash.Clean" Yes it is very clean. It is NOT Mint or cherry. This truck is a very presentable SUV. I pride myself on owning good stuff. NOT JUNK' I ask for a honest auction. It does have a reserve but is priced to sell. I will not disclose the reserve so please do not ask.
