Up for sale is a 1974 light blue Mustang II 4 cylinder engine. This car starts right up, runs well, NO overheating issues, however, has not been on the road since 1989. There is some surface rust but body is straight. This little car just needs some TLC and a new paint job to be the pride of the car show or your garage. Car comes with extra and new parts including, two spare tires, replacement grill, glovebox door, headlight bezels, instrument bezel, running board trim, 4 hubcaps, (set) rear tail light units, new battery, new plugs, new valve gasket. Cosmetically, this car needs new headliner, top dash pad, front seats need attention and a serious cleaning (may need new carpets). Short of that every thing else cosmetically looks in good order. Mechanically, I'm not sure as I have not gone though the vehicle. I drove it about a mile and I can tell you that the brakes work but need immediate attention. The engine starts up immediately and idols fine. Engine compartment needs a serious cleaning. The gears shift good, I didn't recognize an issue on my short test drive. There was no indication of oil leaks. There seems to be some sort of sensor issue with the e brake light. When the light goes out the tachometer seems to stop working. However, if you were to jiggle the e brake when its disengaged, you can make the e-brake light come on and the tachometer work fine, again, it needs some attention. This car is being sold AS IS with no warranties. This vehicle will need significant work to become road worthy. Buyer must leave a minimum of $500 deposit and must have car picked up within 72 hours of auction end or until my new title arrives in mail.
