Vehicle Detail

Video       Up for bid is my 1940 Packard Model 110 Opera Coupe. This Packard Coupe is one of the finest examples to be had at any price. The restoration was a complete body off nut & bolt professional job to a very high level including all the mechanicals front to back. It had earned a 1st Senior AACA award and as you can see still very fresh since the restoration about ten years ago or so. The money spent on this car left no stone unturned to make it one of the best examples. This Packard was delivered on 1/7/1940 and sold new by “Warme Motors Inc in Chicago Il”. I purchased this car from a fine man who I knew over the years and was part of a great collection of cars. When he got it he added further refinements to the car such as Air Condition, overdrive, new radial white wall tires including the spare etc. This car comes with the Packard heater and factory radio as well. In fact when the air condition was installed the vents were even wood grained to match the wood grain dashboard including a set of original Packard knobs to turn it on and regulate the AC. Now if one wanted these things could be removed without hurting the car and shown for AACA points again but I will say it would be a shame because it has won everything and it is done so well and tastefully that I think it just adds to the beauty and uniqueness of the car and as we all get older or live in hotter climate areas these comfortable items will make you love the car all the more. Now as you can see from the many detailed pictures this car is just extraordinary throughout with the finest fit and finish in the paint and chrome including one of the best detailed interiors & dash I have ever seen in all my years of collecting. This car is ready for any caravan or tour and could travel across country at any given moment. When all this work was completed the car was never really driven and this is why the car has remained in the fresh state you see here. Nothing and I mean nothing was overlooked even down to the Parkard Script mirrors and back up light. This car drives better than new and will keep up with traffic and cruse at 70 all day long. Do Not miss the chance to own perhaps the finest and certainly the most unique Prewar 40 Packard Opera Coupe’s that exist. Someone is going to get a wonderful car for a very fair price. Best of luck. I accept all checks, money orders and credit cards including Pay-Pal, personal checks must clear my bank before I can let the car go. A deposit from the winning bidder of $ 1000.00 will hold the car till you can come and see or have the car picked up and if this car is not as described in this add I will refund your deposit back to you in full 100% No Questions Asked. I can arrange shipping for you door to door if you wish and will be more than happy to accommodate you in any way to make buying your car a safe and easy transaction. Here are some examples; I use Passport Transport for many of my cars and have been very happy over the years. Call them at; 1-800-325-4267 and ask for John Scharff at ext: 2305 and give him my name, Joe Todaro from Bedford Hills, New York zip code 10507 and your information for an exact quote to your door. I also have a couple of other transporters that I have used as well and have found them also very good to deal with should you wish to get a comparison. One of them is “Stooney’s Transport”, Ask for Noel DeMarsico at ; 908-966-1127 cell. The next one is Kevin O’Neill, D.K.R. Enterprises, Enclosed Transportation at 201-317-3262 cell. I invite each and every one of you who are truly interested in bidding on this fine car to see it for yourself and to ask questions should you have any details you wish to know about and I will be happy to help in anyway I can. You may email me at, jt1647@aol.com or call me on my private business line day or night at; 914-413-3092 Below are many detailed pictures for your consideration.
