Selling my 1976 MGB. I purchased it some time ago because I just had to have it. The novelty has worn off and I rarely drive it so it is time for a new home. I didn't use a tank of fuel all of last year and has turned into a garage queen. These are the faults I do know about it and may even be other quirks. Remember this is a 39 year old automobile. It is cold blooded starting but fires up after two or three tries. Think it is a choke issue. It has an oil drip from somewhere. I keep a piece of cardboard under it in the garage, It has a crack in the windshield on the left side, but not in the line of vision. The horn sometime won't work and sometimes it does. The speedometer mph needle will sometimes stick. The generator light will sometimes flash on and off at idle. It has an exhaust leak up front somewhere but not real bad. The left radio speaker doesn't work. I listed all that I know about it because I don't like surprises myself when I purchase a vehicle. It does run and drive well, shifts smooth, brakes are good. It is overall in good condition for as old as it is. I get many compliments when I do take it for a drive. Included is a spare tire, jack, case, and all the top covers shown in the picture. There are no hidden surprises and I believe who ever buys this car will be very pleased. I have a clear Indiana title in my name. Odometer is listed as exempt on the title because of Indiana law when I transferred the title. In my opinion, they are probably original. Inspections are welcome and preferred. On Jun-06-15 at 16:57:52 PDT, seller added the following information: Please note regarding shipping this vehicle - since putting this car up for auction I have had several out of state people asking about shipping this car from Indiana and this is what I am willing to do in that regard: if you purchase this car and choose to have it shipped to you in another state you will need to 1) pay for item in full prior to shipping 2) make all necessary arrangements with a reputable shipping company and I will be available to release the car to them 3) provide a release prior to the car leaving my property that any and all liability regarding this ebay item is strictly the buyer's responsibility and there will be no return of the car or refund of the purchase price if the bidder / purchaser of this car does not physically inspect and /or visually approve the car prior to shipping. 4) all payments and shipping arrangements must be made and completed within 10 business days from end of auction. 5) shipper must agree to sign for release of title and will transport title with vehicle for buyer.
