Up for sale is a 1984 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa. I am listing the car for my uncle. You will be working directly with him for the sale of the car. There were only 1469 Targas built in 1984. It was purchased from the original owner in the late 80’s and meticulously cared for by my uncle ever since. The car is best described as a survivor. It has 64,763 original miles. The exterior color code is L811 Kiln Red and the interior code VT Gray-Biege. The current owner installed a bra on the front end and covers on the outside mirrors, which has protected the paint from stone chips and road wear over the years. The paint appears to be about 80% original. There a couple of small chips and a small ding on the left front fender which didn’t break the paint, but I wanted to call it out. The bottom edge of the rear valence panel was scraped on a driveway approach. Other than these items, the exterior is in phenomenal condition. The interior is completely original and clean. There were aftermarket floor mats protecting the original carpet. The leather is still soft and shows almost no wear. There is a seam on the driver’s seat back where the stitching has come out about 2 inches long. The car runs, shifts and drives perfectly.
