1997 NAS Land Rover Defender - Automatic Transmission An excellent, unmolested, factory-stock Land Rover NAS Defender 90 in excellent original condition. This vehicle resides in Austin Texas, garage kept, and very well maintained. Exterior color is Alpine White with the factory roll cage and front brush guard bumper. Paint is excellent, and body very straight. The interior of the vehicle is still factory original, with the Land Rover factory A/C (recently serviced and blows very cold). All upholstery and interior finishes are in excellent condition without signs of wear. There is a small crack on the lid box on the center console (this is typical with this model), but at buyers request can be reupholstered with new material of your choice. No rust in any of the common areas (period), including the bulkhead and the foot wells - overall the body, chassis and drive-train are in excellent condition. Mechanically, the truck recently had a full top end engine service, including head gaskets, full valve job, new fan clutch and new radiator cores. All gaskets, seals and applicable fluids were changed in addition to reseating all the valves giving the engine a total refresh. The truck runs and shifts very smoothly and is great fun to drive! This would make an excellent daily driver or just a fun weekend truck. I would consider this one of the best examples of a Defender 90 to come through our shop.
