This is a 1988 Firebird formula five speed that has been stored inside for the last 20 years. It is all original and is a low mileage car. The engine runs really good it has tuned port injection and I replaced all of the seals and sensors which made it really responsive and starts up quick. The interior is really dark black with no rips in the seats. The headliner does sag a little bit, but it has the original OEM dash that has no cracks, and is not faded. It has BFg radial T/A that are wide and don't leak. It has minor surface rust on the doors and fenders but it is only from the gravel road that the previous owner lived on. There are no holes! The car was under coated from the factory and the floors and sub frame are in perfect condition.The fuel and brake lines are also rust free and original. If you pull up the carpet it it nothing but factory paint which is really rare for any car this age. The drivers rear quarter panel was replaced due to a minor traffic collision along with the rear window, spoiler, and bumper. It doesn't match perfectly, but it does have a clear title. The paint on the roof is also getting thin, and just starting to flake off. Factory performance -4 wheel disc brakes - stops quick-multiport fuel injection- 5 speed manual transmission-WS6 suspension (huge sway bars)-aluminum radiator duel electric fan- locking differential (works in forward and reverse)- 140 mph speedo-5k tachometer-16x8 ws6 wheels- hydraulic clutchAll of these options are all original, and make this car really fun to drive. These cars are really hard to find with a manual transmission and are so worth it. The clutch is in perfect condition and you have to push it all the way to the floor just to disengage it showing how much life is left in it. It drives straight down the road like a brand new car, and not an old worn out one. It has a flow master muffler and tailpipes which makes this car loud. This car is the Firebird version of the Iroc Z. The 305 does not drive like most 305s. The 350 was the biggest engine they put in these cars, and they had 230 Hp and only came with an automatic. This 305 tpi with the manual transmission has 220 HP. Thats only a 10 HP difference going from an auto to a manual transmission, which is why it doesn't feel like a 305. This car would make anyone an awesome project. The interior is the nicest part about the car, and with a new headliner it would be perfect. This car is a few parts and a paint job away from being a really nice car. it is all one color and looks good enough to be a driving project. It was my daily driver for 3 summers, and loved every second I drove it!
