1965 PLYMOUTH FURY III STATION WAGON I have been the proud owner of this 1965 Plymouth Fury III Wagon since 1997. I have kept all service record history and backup receipts from the 16 years we have been together and will include all of this paperwork with the car. The car has many features including a big block 440 engine, which I put under the hood two years ago. The 440 was from a '69 Roadrunner and only had 50k miles on it and it runs strong and fast. The Torque Flight transmission was just rebuilt last month and drives like a dream! Suspension, paint and bumpers are all excellent. I have taken off the automatic tree shifter and added a Hurst Dual Gate shifter in the center column, which is very cool. The car has all it's trim in all the right places, the headliner ceiling is in excellent shape. It's quite simply the best looking and fastest sport wagon in Los Angeles, hands down! The back window is electric, controlled from a dashboard switch, which is convenient for loading groceries or packages. There is a cassette, AM/FM stereo with subwoofer installed. The back seat folds down to extend the bed in back. I've comfortably camped in this car after being "rained out" at campgrounds. I am a photographer and this has been a great car over the years for loading lots of photo gear within for productions. This car has been featured in Tommy Lee photo shoots, as well as in the music video for Cypress Hill's "Whats Your Name, Whats Your Number?"
