1968 Buick Riviera "Roadster" w/Custom Top & Cover 455 Cu In. Engine with 400 Turbo Transmission (automatic). Runs, drives and looks great! It's hard to go a mile down the road without turning heads, this is truly a one of a kind Riviera. The exterior is in great shape, has newer paint/pin striping and no body damage or rust issues. The interior is also in great shape and is almost all original, with the exception of the back seat being recovered, but it looks great as seen in the photos. The Goodyear tires are like new and have 90% of the tread remaining. Although this is not a cream puff or in 100% showroom shape, it's as close as I would want it to be as a daily driver and turns heads daily. The 455 is not the original motor in the vehicle and has recently had the top-end rebuilt (rebuilt/shaved heads, new gaskets, lifters, etc) - it purrs like a kitten. I'm not certain if the 400 Turbo transmission is original or not, but it shifts great. There is a custom vinyl top that snaps into place and creates a water-proof seal, in addition to the dust cover shown in pictures. It does have A/C and the compressor works, but was recently removed due to a leaky hose. Everything for the A/C is included with the sale though. The only mechanical issue I know of is a slow power steering leak, which I plan to have fixed before the vehicle is picked up. All in all, it is a fine vehicle and an excellent price for such a one of a kind roadster. This is sold "as-is" "where is" with a clear title.
