I bought this truck about 9 years ago , as a 10 year old it was the truck of my dreams and it still is..The truck had not been on the road since 1979 but you could tell that it had been at least under cover during most of its life.The finish was poorly redone some time in the past and was quite faded but there is no rust including the cab and doors .The chrome is pitted but from a small distance it looks great.Mechanically the truck has always started easily and sounds great (does have some smoke) ,clutch works great, transmissions are excellent,air compressor builds to 90 lbs quickly brakes stop well ,tires are 900 /20 or 1000/22.5 recaps mostly some weathered ,radials,govener works well.shutters also ,does not run hot but the radiator probably could be cleaned ,does have 4 way flashers and turn signals.Biggest modifications are west coast mirrors air driven wipers and large air horns I bought it to take to truck shows brought it up to classic Pa tags standards and over the next couple years took to shows in Baltimore,Md,Winchester Va, Allentown,Pa about 150 one way miles ,driven not taken, extremely hot, 48 miles an hour always got there and back.Today I'm 74 and don't have the stamina that I once had a long with some health issues and was going to take to the show in York.I backed out.I'm about 90 miles north of York on route 15 at Williamsport,Pa and the truck is licensed and insured.If interested and at the show come take a ride or drive it and then place a bid.My phone number is 570 974 3858.Will be here Thursday and Friday ,Saturday at the show Sunday Monday
