Up for bids is this pretty much original 1990 mustang LX 5.0 convertible. This is a 7 up edition car. There wasn't a bunch of these made so this will be a pretty rare car on day. Seeing how it is already 25 years old and these old fox body cars are getting harder to find they have already started going up in value. Most of these were either trashed or wrecked so there are fewer on the road anymore. This one has the 5.0 5 speed in it. It runs good. I had a new top put on it as the old one was worn and showing age. The paint job on it is decent. It is not perfect but is very presentable. It has a few scratches on it. They might buff out. The body is straight and solid. The tires are good. It has the original turbine wheels on it. The interior is original. The seats are showing age like any old leather seats will do. The dash looks nice. The door panels are good. The seats just look worn. The car is showing 85,913 miles. The guy I got it from said that was original miles but there is no way to know. This is one of the odometers that rolls over and starts over at 0. The mileage on the title is exempt because of the age. You don't find many of these that are still this nice. The power top works. Here is what does not work on the car. The radio does not work and the rear windows do not work. It sounds like they might be off track but I am not sure. The front windows work. The car is located in Jonesboro Louisiana and will have to be picked up here. I will accept cash in person, certified bank check, or bank wire transfer as payment for the car. If you don't have the money to pay for it chances are you can't buy it so please make sure you have to funds ready and the wives permission before bidding. Not trying to sound rude but I have heard every excuse known to man so I am looking for a good transaction. Also the car is sold as is with no warranty. This car is running great now and it could keep it up for another 100,000 miles or 10 miles there is no way to know so I just want to say that it is a 25 year old car and can tear up and any given time so it is sold as is. Not trying to scare anybody I just have to cover my self. Again if you need more info email or call me. Added on 5-25-15 I had a few questions about the luggage rack on the car. The luggage rack was taken off and is in the trunk. Im not sure if the whole car was repainted at some point and someone didn't like the luggage rack and took it off or what the deal was but the luggage rack is there and in the trunk if someone wants to put it back on. I also had questions about whether the car had ever been wrecked. The title is a clean clear louisiana title. It is not a salvage title. The car is 25 years old. It is possible it was in a minor fender bender or something like that in its life but I don't see any evidence of any major damage ever. This is a nice old car.
