This really is the "swiss-army knife" of bikes. I have no complaints or issues with this bike, it has served me well. A great all around motorcycle which has many extras. I added Madstad adjustable windshield brackets($100), Oxford heated grips ($75), Kaoko throttle lock ($165) integrated with Barkbusters ($160) wind and hand guards and bar end weights($50). Rox risers ($105) and extended Galfer braided front brake line for ABS bike ($100). New sprockets (16,42) and chain with lower ratio for mileage and lower revs at speed ($110). The skid plate ($410) is from Enduro Guardian, 3/16" Aluminum powder coated black. Also from Enduro Guardian are the highway pegs($100). Altrider crashguard engine protector ($320) and frame slider kit ($165). Mini front signals for the DL650 ($50). Givi PL532 Side Case Racks and Givi E21 Monokey Side Cases ($360). Michelin Pilot Road 3 tires ~80% ($350+) K & N filtercharger ($65) No need for a center stand with this skid plate just use a motorcycle floor jack for lifting the bike and service! I didn't want to lose clearance by adding a center stand and this works great. There is a side stand. This bike has been well maintained, not ridden off-road but ready for it. Mileage is mixed highway, local and commuting. Very versatile and great for experienced or novice riders.
