Vehicle Detail
DO NOT BID IF YOU CAN NOT PAY. This was a great car until two weeks ago. I let someone borrow it and they decided to crash it. Before the accident, everything worked great and still does. I used this car for the past year for a 120 mile round trip commute roughly 3 days/week. I use my truck all winter so it didn't see any snow/salt. Engine is perfectly smooth, no noises, leaks, lights, rattles, nothing. Perfect. Transmission is the same. Shifts smoothly, predictably, and exactly as new. Both of these currently function 100%. Front tires are near new and rear tires were too but left rear is damaged and will need to be replaced. I have a set of 16" wheels with tires that can be included to get the car mobile enough to drive onto a truck for shipping. The 16" tires are not good enough for street use (dry rot). Airmatic recently received a huge service that included rebuilding of the front struts and a new compressor. Valve block was tested 100% and rear struts tested 100%. Leak down test was performed and no leak found. Airmatic buttons, car lift, everything still works. All of the interior stuff works. Heated seats, power seats, power head rests, flip down headrests, air cooled rear seats, power rear sun shade, any button you press, it works. The driver's side flip down sunvisor has been removed but is included. It got stuck half way down. There are guides online to free them up but I had planned to just buy a new one. A/C did not work before the accident. Recently diagnosed as a bad pressure sensor. System is charged and holds a charge, compressor is good. Repair was quoted at $130 from an independent shop. The part is $25 if you can do it yourself. Body damage: front passenger fender, lower valance on front bumper cracked, passenger door, passenger mirror, trunk, all dented/damaged. Scratches along passenger side but they appear to be minor and should buff out. Rear bumper cover is heavily scratched on passenger corner and will most likely require repaint but does not appear to be cracked. No apparent damage to any underlying components. All of the wheels have minor scratches, most likely they can be buffed out. SRS light is on for a faulty passenger seat pressure sensor. Very common issue with these cars. I have an eliminator kit to plug in under the passenger seat to get rid of the fault but it is not installed yet. No lights on (besides the SRS listed above). No check engine lights, no BAS, no airmatic, no ESP faults, nothing. All systems check out good and work as they should. New tire, fender, door, and some buffing and this car can be back on the road. It was rock solid before the accident and should still be. Car does drive around the yard with no problems. Everything seems straight and it all appears to be cosmetic damage on the passenger side. Title in hand. Deposit of $500 due within 24 hours! No exceptions!!! Full payment due within 7 days unless other arrangements are made prior to the end of auction! It is up to the buyer to arrange shipping. I will make the car available to the best of my ability and am typically available any day of the week to meet the driver and help load. DO NOT BID IF YOU CAN NOT PAY! This is the second time I have listed this car on here due to a non-paying bidder. On May-18-15 at 07:40:14 PDT, seller added the following information: I forgot to mention that the front brake rotors, pads, and sensors were replaced less than 1000 miles ago with top end parts. Crank position sensor and brake pedal switch were also recently replaced along with several other sensors as preventive maintenance. These are common failure points and I wanted to avoid any issues before they happened.
