1952 Chevrolet 3100 1/2 ton Stepside Shortbed. Has a very interesting history. This truck has been inside a garage since 1979 and has not seen the light of day since then. The last 2 pictures shows the manner in which this truck was stored for the last 36 years. Engine was COMPLETELY rebuilt at a cost of $2100 in 2007. At that time the stock three speed column shift transmission was replaced with a used 4 speed and a new clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing was installed. Stock 3 speed transmission and stock column shifter comes with this truck as well. Still has stock enclosed driveline. Engine has been converted to 12 volt alternator and 12 volt starter at time of engine rebuild as well. Mr Gasket 12 volt fuse block installed in cab under dash, some 12 volt rewriring needs completed so truck is not running at this time. Comes with stock Chevrolet air cleaner. Some minor floor rusting, uncut dash and even the ORIGINAL headliner is still in place. Hood, tailgate and truck bed headboard are included with this sale and will be installed by me before transport after sale. The hood has been removed since the engine removal and replacement. Original speedometer is out of dash but comes with sale. It was removed to facilitate installation of a 12 volt electric wiper motor to replace the vacuum wipers but this was never completed. Bottoms of both driver's and passenger's doors are flawless and rust free. Original, unpatched cab corners don't come any nicer on a 63 year old truck. They are as nice as you will find. Both doors open and close nicely and all 4 hinges and hinge pockets are perfect. One cracked window on one door. Some delaminating on a wing window. This truck even comes with the spare tire holder assembly under the bed. Overall a VERY EASY TRUCK PROJECT YOU CAN DRIVE AND RESTORE. Original vin plate still attached. Clear Washington state title. It is NOT a salvage or reconstructed title. $500 deposit by paypal required within 48 hours of close of auction. Full payment must be received within 7 days of close of auction. Winning buyer must arrange for any and all shipping but I will assist with loading of this vehicle. I can store for up to 30 days after sale for free.
