1968 Volkswagen Beetle Project. Maroon in color, was repainted in the 80's (was white). Has rust in the drivers heater channel (needs replacement), fender headlight buckets, fender and bumper mounting holes, and some in the lower rear quarters, and a bit on the front firewall (behind the pedals, end of the heater channel). has surface rust in the pan, but no holes that I have found. some rust in the front spare tire well on the left side. Has dents and dings from many years of daily use, including a few in the roof. looks like it may have been gently kissed from the front at some point.. With a new front clip, new fenders, and some straightening the exterior isn't bad at all. original 1500CC and trans, has not ran in about 25 years. Needs a gas tank (missing) some wiring repair (fuse box is missing, but comes with a new used one). Was told it ran when it was parked but i've never tried to get it running or even hooked up a battery. The muffler tips rusted off so a new exhaust or repair would be needed. Needs the brakes gone through, tires (will be sold with ones that hold air for tow-bar towing if you prefer) and the left window won't roll down. Missing the rear deck lid hinges, gas tank, wiper motor, the left running board, and one headlight. Everything else is there. seats are tan vinyl and original, ready for replacement. bumpers are bent up and off the car, but do come with. all the glass is good. has pop out rear windows. You could most likely tune up the engine and change/flush fluids, rebuild brakes, get a new exhaust, fix the left heater channel, and drive the thing, I just have too many projects. A great candidate for complete restoration. for $1500 or so you could have a fun driveable car, and for $5000ish you could have a restored cruiser to take to shows or drive every day.
