1970 FJ 40 in excellent condition. 100% rust free. This FJ was restored by the previous owner approximately 15 years ago. The vehicle is in excellent condition and still shows very well. The vehicle has a SBC 350 with a Toyota 4-speed manual transmission. I drive the vehicle several times a week with no issues. There are a few items to note that need finishing or fixing: - Still has original drum manual brakes. They work as they should but a disc brake conversion would do wonders.- Manual steering has some play. Could be replaced or upgraded with a power steering kit. - Hazard lights do not blink.- Drips a few drops of oil from rear area of engine per week.- Gauges (oil pressure, amps, water temp) need to be hooked up.- No head liner- Doors could be adjusted a little better.- Heater hoses are not hooked up. This is not a $45,000 Barrett Jackson trailer queen. This is a very fun driver that shows and drives great. If you want a $45,000 FJ40 then DO NOT buy this one.
