I really love this car but it was time to upgrade (I upgraded to a '99 E300TD). It has been very reliable and economical (28-32 mpg). These cars are made like a tank: thick metal body and great handling. Please look at the full description of the issues. I will answer any questions you might have. I recommend this car to someone who knows the value of these cars and has the expertise to work on its issues. I have owned the car since 2012 and my son owned for the 3-4 years previously. I replaced the transmission around 220,000 mi. with a transmission out of wrecked car with 86,000. It has had the 10-second pause after engagement ever since it was installed. It shifts fine after it engages, you just have to be patient. Please read all of the description. I think I have revealed everything.
