Salvage

This is a 1980 Honda 900C with @14,000 miles that has the hi-lo range on 5-speed transmission. I bought it as a wreck with the thought of fixing up, but have decided not to invest the time. The bike was in a front-end accident; the forks are bent, the instrument cluster took a hit and the handle bars etc. are bent beyond repair. The handlebar came around and dented the left side of the fuel tank as well. I don't know if triple tree is damaged. Otherwise, the bike looks pretty good for its age from the steering head back (other than the tank). The chrome is fair, engine cases fair to good, rear drive and wheel good, so I think it's worth fixing. The seat needs recovering and the battery side panels are missing. I have not tried to start the bike and don't intend to; it's been sitting for a few years and I don't want to get into whatever issues, like fuel, that will need to be dealt with. So, there you have it. A restorable 900C, an interesting bike, a powerful cruiser in its day, not many around any more. Look the photos over and feel free to ask questions. I'm not a Honda expert but will tell you what I can see. I don't have a title for the bike (I put 'salvage' in ebay box just to get listing to upload). Maine does not require title for a vehicle this old so this will be sold by Bill of Sale.
