Vehicle Detail
An outstanding example of the last of the legendary SOHC Honda’s with that unmistakable four cylinder vintage Honda sound. This is a beautiful unmolested and unrestored bike that runs as good as it looks. The pictures included in this ad were taken this month and are current. I have many more pictures I can share if there is a particular area is of interest or concern. The bike has the original Cosmo Black Metallic paint with no fading which really sparkles in the sun. The bike has a new battery and rear tire less than one month old. I have a new in the box $100 plus O-ring chain I will include with the bike. This bike was always stored indoors as indicated by the deep red un-faded red zone on the tachometer. It has the original factory warning stickers, factory tool kit, instruction manual, the seat is perfect and the chrome is nice and shiny. It has been maintained responsibly which is why it is in this killer condition. There are a few flaws on the bike appropriate for a bike that has been ridden and stored for 33 years that are detailed elsewhere. None of these flaws are of the magnitude that makes them visible in the pictures. I encourage anyone than can inspect the bike in person to do so to confirm its outstanding condition and hear it run, as the pictures don’t do it justice. As is the case with most of these old Honda motorcycles it is cold blooded. But unlike most, the bike starts instantly, runs great, and idles perfectly. The engine is very tight and quiet and does not leak or smoke. I have a clear current Illinois title in my name. I reserve the right to cancel bids from anyone with low feedback numbers but encourage them to contact me directly if they are interested in the bike. The bike is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. This bike deserves to be on display at a dealership, museum, or in a private collection. I have a flexible schedule and can be available to help schedule shipping and even help with crating. As the worn out saying goes, they are only original once so take this one to your local bike night and get ready for lots of thumbs up!
