Super Clean, totally original 2004 Land Rover Discovery II SE. This is a rare one-color-coded trim Discovery with Titanium-finish wheels as done in special-order TWR kits in the UK. Very similar to the more modern Range Rover look. Always a California Rover since sold new at the Land Rover dealership in Redwood City, CA ( now RWC Land Rover), it has resided in Northern California since until now. Of course, it is 100% rust-free as expected. The 2004 is the second your of the revised Discovery Series II that came out in 2003, the 04' model being the one to buy. The last-year model were probably the best ( as opposed to the terrible 03' models with catastrophic engine and oil pump failure issues ). It also comes factory-equipped with the desirable CDL ( Central Differential-Lock) system. Completely stock, and all original DII. Heavier-duty roof bars and factory Tow package. NICE, nearly new NITTO Grappler All-terrain tires mounted on a nice clean set of 18" HURRICANE alloy wheels finished in titanium color, like the newer Rovers. NEVER altered, lifted, off-roaded or abused. It has resided in Northern California its entire life since new, and it's where it currently resides. Stock 4.6L engine runs well. No overheating issues and it runs very well. 119K original miles, relatively low for any Land Rover. No alterations or deviations from its original stock condition. Automatic transmission shifts flawlessly into all gears. Four-wheel Power disc brakes, Power steering, Power windows and Power seats (they both work). Head-gasket job at 86K. This is a super straight example of a Classic DII that looks extremely sharp despite its vintage. The coachwork is in remarkable condition, with no dents, scratches or any kind of damage. Never in any accidents, wrecks or repaints other than the body color-coded trim. As a true West Coast vehicle, it is completely 100% rust-free as expected, and solid throughout. Its original Chawton White factory finish still shines very nicely and it is in EXCELLENT condition. All doors, panels, hood and trunk line up perfect. There is absolutely NO clearcoat fading, flaking or damage to the factory finish on the roof, hood or filler panel areas, common on many Rovers, specially East Coast examples where the elements and salted roads have taken their toll ! The original, fairly rare ash gray ( NOT tan or black) leather upholstery is in better-than-average condition and has held up very well. Surprisingly, the headliner is firm and well attached in all areas ( a very common ailment on all Land Rovers). Extremely clean interior, door panels, factory carpeting and trunk area. NON SMOKER vehicle. This DII has a clear California title and it is currently registered through 2015. FREE CARFAX report available on request. It has a strong 4.6L engine, nice clean bodywork and clean original interior. It will make a nice completely-original Discovery, 2004 being the best year to buy.
