1961 Oldsmobile F-85 drag car or gasser. This is a great little winter project! Put in whatever engine/transmission combo you want and be ready for the drag strip and cruise nights this spring! Good: New front ball joints New rebuilt Ford 9 inch rear end with 3.55 gears and Quick Performance Axles QA1 adjustable coilovers on rear with progressive rate springs RCI fuel cell included Mickey Thomson 28x10.5x15 tires Competition Engineering ladder bar rear suspension 4-wheel disc brakes Clear title Left to complete: Install engine/tranny/driveshaft (not included) Complete fuel system Transmission tunnel Wiring Bodywork if desired Bad: The car has some pretty rusty spots as you can tell by the pictures, and at some point, somebody covered it up with bondo. If you don't mind the patina look than it won't bother you. If you would restore the car, you may want to have a donor car. The floorpan and firewall were cut out to set in a small block chevy and th350 transmission. The plan was to just put in a full flat sheetmetal floor and remove the rusty factory floorboards. The front tires are just donuts that were used to move it around the shop. I also have all the original trim to complete the exterior.
