I'm testing the waters on selling my 87 Trans am. The engine was professionally built by Cartek in central jersey and runs strong. The paint is fading but still runs and drives great. This car is fun to drive dynoed at 471 hp to the wheels and the engine is a GM performance 383 FORGED shortblock with JE forged pistons, EAGLE forged 6" H Beam rods and a LUNATI FORGED 4304 crank, Cartek ported AFR aluminum heads 2.02/1.60 valves, port matched ACCEL DFI Super Ram, ported upper and lowers, extrude honed, twin 58 mm 1000 CFM throttle body, and a custom ground hydraulic roller cam. It has newer m/t et streets on the rear only maybe 6 passes and 50 miles on them. The car also has adjustable shocks all the way around and is lowered .5in with Eibach drag launch springs, has air bag on passenger rear spring to help with launching, full 10 point roll cage with swing out arms, driveshaft loop, Dana 44 rear with 3.54 gears, built level ten 700r4 with Art Carr 2800 stall and ratchet shifter, SLP ceramic 1 3/4" headers along with a Mufflex 4" exhaust with a Spintech muffler & Magnaflow tips. Glove box is signed by racing legend John Force. It has Accel dfi stand alone CPU, very fast/fun but needs TLC to be at its glory. The car has run a best of 12.01 with street tires and 11.60 with slicks(currently on the car). Recently, I installed 2 brand new head light motors, a brand new set of 42# injectors(at 50 PSI), always maintained, etc. The car has a BAER 12.22 inch front brake kit with lines & calipers installed, hotchkis control arms/panhard bar, koni suspension with south side sub frame connectors, 5 point RCI cam lock harness, Autometer gauges, Walbro 255 fuel pump & in-line boost pump, racetronix hot wire fuel pump harness kit, and much more!This car is somewhat of a "local legend" and has documented magazine appearances, along with finishing in 2nd place at the Pontaic Pavement Pounders Shootout http://www.hotrod.com/events/coverage/0106hpp-pontiac-pavement-pounders-shootout/Please call or text for more info or to get a video of the car running......
