Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my 1969 Camaro RS, Clear title, Southern car with lots of originality. This Camaro has the original 327 ci and 275hp the engine starts and runs excellent and has new exhaust(flowmaster). It is a number matching engine and stock transmission for RS model---I believe that is the 400 trans. The paint color is GM victory red(easy to match) and is very good paint and very little orange peel. Small nick touched up on rear quarter. Paint(older paint job) was professionally done and all trim was removed including locks. Door gaps equal on both sides and appear factory correct as well as hood and trunk. No new welds behind quarter panels and appear original to car. Has 17inch torque thrust wheels and just installed air shocks in the rear. The bottom of the doors are excellent(no bondo) and the floor pans are original. Correct factory gauges and all are working. Original tachometer which came with the RS package. Hide away headlights have to be operated manually-I was given many of the parts for this fix when I bought it, but can be converted with electric rather than vacuum system. Air conditioning and heater work great. Original steering wheel and seats. Glass is excellent. am/fm cassette stereo radio with 6x9's speakers under original package tray. I installed an upgraded aluminum ribbed air cleaner from edelbrock-- the air filter is red and really makes the engine look great. I will probably post this picture later. This car runs excellent down the road without fail and starts easily. The steering box was adjusted and the alignment was recent. No pulls to either side when driving. Has newer edlebrock 4 barrel and edelbrock performance intake. Great sound and head turner. Previous owner stated upgrade of cam--nice loping sound and the flowmasters make this sound like the muscle car it is. Set up of exhaust ends behind the wheels just like it was when new. No power brakes though recently serviced/with receipts. Power steering. Front tires very good but back tires could use replacement. Same matching mfg rear tires are available I recently had a new sending unit so the gas gauge works. I have the manual for the wiring and had some professional service done for the gauges and they all work. The gas sending unit was replaced and with the original wiring guide I have---the heat sending switch and battery indicator was repaired. The oil was just changed with Castrol 10W30. No leaking oil and no leaking radiator. No leaking trans. The underside/floor pans do not show evidence of any replacement and the rocker panel look as though the car was never jacked up--not bent. Previous owner stated this was always a Southern vehicle. I do not have all the previous owners documentation and receipts but when I bought the car I judged it on my intuitiveness and careful inspection. I purchased car at the Daytona Turkey rod run car show in Daytona Beach. I do have the owners manual and all receipts of repairs I have completed. You are welcome to look closely and ask any questions. The 1969 has had some change in styling versus the 67 and 68, whereas the rear quarter panel have a wider flare giving it a more muscle car look. I love the RS style and quite frankly I luv this car but it is time to move on. I always enjoyed taking it to car shows and I always start it and run regularly . I am sure there are some details I may have left out so feel free to ask through ebay questions. If you are very serious about buying then I may leave my phone # with those person. This is a very good investment car and believe it will always be worth the money paid and with more upgrades will gradually increase in price down the road. I have seen auction prices for same vehicle range between $25000 and $40000 for a similar vehicle and of course all are judged on varying quality of restoration and upgrades. This is a quality restoration. Thanks for looking. Trades? Prefer not but I have taken a small portion in value of another vehicle to be put toward the purchase price but not interested in any project cars or junk. Modern day cars for trade?
