This one's gonna hurt. Let's get to it... Before I get to the car, let me tell you why it's for sale. Here's the short version - sold a big house with a big garage, bought a small house with a small garage - bought his and hers mini's to fit in the 2 car garage so I'd still have room for my motorcycles. Fast forward a couple of years - turned 55 on my birthday and bought an RV so I can go see some stuff, and picked up a Smart car to tow behind the RV. Fiance's dad just passed, she's keeping his truck for sentimental reasons. Truck and Smart car will need to go in the garage, which means both my Gen 1 mini and her Gen 2 mini have to go. Hate it, but that's life. Somebody's gonna get a REALLY nice mini. Her Gen 2 (and my custom Street Glide) will be for sale within the next couple of weeks. Also a REALLY nice mini. Now the car. Loaded 2004 Mini Cooper S. Bought it in February of 2013 from a couple in Bradenton, FL in their late 60's who were the original owners. It was rock stock, and absolutely spotless. I took it to Ferman BMW Mini in Tampa and had them go through the car to make sure everything was 100% right. I have love affairs with my cars, which usually manifests itself by me spending way too much money improving them. This one is no exception. Neither I nor the previous owner had kids. Neither of us were smokers. I don't eat in my cars. I don't think anyone has ever sat in the back seat. There's not so much as a single door ding anywhere. Not one. The car runs and drives like it just rolled off the showroom floor and it's a blast. I'm a serious car nut and a very meticulous owner, and it shows when you look at the car. If you're within driving distance, I encourage you to come look at the car - I'm certain the first person to see it and drive it will buy it. You won't find a nicer Gen 1 Mini, never mind one loaded with this much equipment and this many quality upgrades. And especially not at this price. If you'll take the time to price the upgrades I've done, you'll see what a steal this truly is. The Tenzo R Wheels and Yokohama tires were more than $1600. The Works Carbon Fiber Dash, Shift Knob, Mats, and Emblem were over $1000 not including installation. The window tinting was $250. There's $2850 right there and those are just a few of the things that were done. I'm gonna take a serious whoopin' on this thing, but I need to find it a new home asap, and I've priced it accordingly.
