USED TRX250R FOR SALE 1989 OEM frame; powder coated red. No cracks or rust; in great shape, but with some minor/typical wear.1988 engine. Stock cylinder. Bore size unknown. Hours since last rebuild unknown. Said to have Hinson clutch basket, but cannot confirm. Starts 3 kicks or less when cold; sometimes more if it's sat for a LONG time- and one kick if warm. Strong running engine for stock. Ran on premium pump fuel & Klotz Super Techniplate @ 32:1 since I've owned it. Have not ridden more than 3-4 short times in last 2-3yrs+. Stock 34mm PJ carburetor & reeds.I believe the front shocks are OEM Honda from a 400ex.Full frame skid plate & Armadillo swingarm skid- heavy duty. Stock gearing; o-ring chain & sprockets in good, but used shape. Front and rear brake system in good shape and working well. Douglas .190" thick 10"dia rims and Maxxis Razr2 tires, 20" on back & 21" on front. LOTS of tread left. OEM plastics. Fronts are cut and show typical wear, but good overall shape. Hood & headlight are OEM and the headlight works. Rear plastic is OEM, cracked in one area & has the pipe burn hole- as shown in pics. Rear axle is OEM; not perfectly straight, but completely rideable. Baja style front and rear aluminum bumper/grab bars. UNI air filter, airbox lid intact with EHS air lid kit- see pictures. Breathes like an open airbox, without letting dirt or water in.FMF Gold Series exhaust with turbine core spark arrestor silencer.Radiator guards and air scoops as shown in pictures.Graydon Proline pro-peg style nerf bars with integrated pegs. VERY grippy and durable. I have owned this 4-wheeler for 5+ years, but have not been able to enjoy it very much at all in the past few. At one point; I had a 2nd machine and even more parts, and was going to eventually do a full restore, but ended up with this instead- a good, basic, reliable "rider." Trouble is, I never ride it. It is not perfect, but it is in full usable condition- I just ripped it around today, 2/28/15. You won't be afraid to ride the heck out of it and scratch the plastics, but there's enough there to do a great restore if that's your plan. $500 deposit due at time of sale via PayPal; balance due at time of pickup, either by cash / money order / certified check.
