Vehicle Detail

This is my project Pro-Street Camaro, started when I was a senior in high school. I’m selling it because it’s a bit too radical for me now, and would like to use the money elsewhere. I purchased the car locally and refurbished it with the help of an experienced paint & body man, who added (& modified) new quarters, tubs, cage, painted jams/dash/cage, etc. The rear was professionally shortened & set up. The suspension was set up by a local performance shop a couple of years ago. The 385cid engine was built last year by a local performance shop, so it’s new with maybe only an hour of run time on it. It’s a properly-built modern stroker - check out the video below (the exhaust note is much louder than my videocamera mic would pick up). It’s set up conservatively with the boost and timing and rich carb jetting just to break in the motor, but as you can see it revs smoothly and makes plenty of power, and once it’s properly tuned it should easily crank out around 500-550hp on pump gas. The techs at Weiand told me if I would swap the blower pulley to run more boost and run racing gas it should easily produce another 100-150hp. I’ve invested around $30k in the car, not counting maybe 2000 hours of my own time, but I want to sell and will accept a reasonable bid for less. This is a good car, just needs the right owner.
