This auction is for a 1959 Ford Galaxie Fairlane project car. This car was in the middle of a restoration and the guy gave up on it. The body is pretty straight. Originally a Southern car it had some rust in the quarters but was repaired. There is an area on the drivers side rear quarter that needs repaired but it is under the aluminum sheet. There is also an area right on the drivers kick panel that was started but not completed. The engine fires up and idles smooth. I drove this car up and down our street several times but it really pulls to the right when the brakes are pressed. The transmission works in all gears. The interior really doesn't need much. The seats and visors have been redone. Dash has been painted. Really doesn't look that bad. There is also a bunch of parts in the trunk. From what I see, it will need the rear window crank assemblies. door panels, there are some there but they aren't that nice. I do have both bumpers. I do not have a title, just a bill of sale
